Art on Vinyl – the name says it all in this project for wavemusic. Art and music flow together to create something new. Art and music? Wait a minute. There’s at least one more component here and that’s artful production. The CDs, for example, have been optically transformed into mini vinyl records using relief screen printing. And the real vinyl records sit flat in the rigid box – closed with a specially produced 3D-printed button. Like a real work of art, each copy was also numbered using hot foil stamping.
